Lester, as he was called, was the fifth child and fifth son of Leonadous Lafayette (Lon) Price and Anna Boling Hand Price. He married Janie Gary Satcher 28 Dec 1922 in Lauderdale County, MS. They had two sons, Melvin and Lenoy
(Snooky). Lester died by self inflicted gun shot wound.
Janie died January 1972 in California and was
cremated. Melvin died November 1971 in California and was
cremated, though he has a memorial stone at Toomsuba Cemetery, next to his father. Lenoy (Snooky) died
23 March 2008 in Phoenix, AZ and was cremated.
