John B. Showalter died of consumption at his home near Dale Enterprise, Rockingham Co., Va., on the 18th of May, 1905: aged 60 Y., 9 .M., 22 D. He was a deacon in the German Baptist Church for some years. He leaves a widow and three children, all grown. Funeral services were held at the Hinton Grove church, May 20th, and were conducted by J.
