Clint Moore "Punk" Dillehay, 72, retired supervisor for Smelter Services and resident of the Rich Community in Giles County, died Friday, September 4, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services conducted at Oakes & Nichols. Burial in Polk Memorial Gardens.

The Maury County native was the son of the late Carl Dillehay and Bonnie Rieves Dillehay.

He was a 1955 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Mr. Dillehay farmed part-time and formerly was employed by Mobile Corporation in Mt. Pleasant.

He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, June Prentice Dillehay, whom he married February 17, 1962; daughters, Melissa (Terriel Malone) Howell of Lynnville and Mitzi (Rob) Andrew of Spring Hill; sons, Tom Dillehay of Memphis and Berry (Sandy) Sands of Lynnville; sisters, Louella Miller, Edith (Tom) Haney, Elizabeth "Pee Wee" Hargrove, all of Columbia, Peggy (Bill) Brent of Culleoka; brothers, Oscar (Jean) Dillehay of Columbia and Laddye (Judy) Dillehay of Louisiana; grandchildren, Charlene Sands Russell and Wil Sands; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
