Mrs. D. L. McBrier, a highly esteemed and well known lady of the Third ward, died at 9:05 last evening at her home, 415 Fourth street. Mrs. McBrier had been a sufferer from asthma for 8 weeks, and for the past fortnight had been unable to leave her bed. The McBrier family have lived in DuBois for many years and the deceased had an extensive circle of friends. Most of the children make this place their home. They are as follows: Mary and Eva, at home, Mrs. G. M. Alcorn, Mrs. M. E. Shaffer, Mrs. A. W. Pentz, DuBois; Mrs. J. L. Alcorn, Indiana; G. V. McBrier, St. Marys. One dauhgter Anna, died just one year ago.
The deceased, who was 58 years of age at her death, had been a consistent member of the Presbyterian church all of her life and the funeral services will be held at the McBrier home at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Bell and Curry. Burial will be made in the Rumbarger cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. D. L. McBrier was held yesterday afternoon from the residence and interment was made in the Rumberger cemetery. The funeral services were conducted by Revs. Bell and Curry and were largely attended.
