GLORIA HAWKINS SMITHEAL, 79, born October 3, 1927 in Houston passed away February 2, 2007. Gloria lived a fun filled life sharing love and joy with her family and everyone she met. She greeted everyone with a smile and a twinkle in her bright eyes. Her love for the Lord was her strength. She always shared her uplifting spirit with family and friends. We were blessed to be close to such a beautiful spirit. She loved her family and never forgot their birthdays, or to ask questions about whatever was important to them and was always interested in others. Such a beautiful person will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents Al Lorie and Aline Hawkins and son Rodney Lorie Smitheal. She leaves husband Robert Smitheal, daughter Cheryl Patton and husband David, sons Robert Smitheal Jr., and wife Judy, Randall Smitheal and wife Deborah, seven grandchildren and numerous great grand children.
