Funeral services for Prudence Jane Curtis Porritt, 80, were conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Myton ward chapel. She died Jan. 21, she was born July 17, 1889 at Orangeville, Emery County to William Barton and Prudence Janes Miles Curtis. She married Nephi Nathanial Porritt, Oct. 31, 1913 in Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died May 27, 1959. She was past LDS Relief Society President and Primary worker.
Survivors, three grandchildren, she reared, Ronald Giles, Mrs. Lee (Charma) Karren both of Vernal, Mrs. James (Adrienne) Thompson of Myton, 5 great grandchildren; brother, Martin of St. George, Mrs. Carolyn Trinnaman, Mrs. Faith Babcock, both of Myton.
Funeral services were conducted at Myton ward chapel.
