MRS. ELLEN LODER PASSED AWAY WEDNESDAY AT 11:30 A.M. AFTER A BRIEF ILLNESS. FUNERAL TODAY.
Mrs. Ellen Loder, wife of William Loder and sister to Jed Stringham and Dr. Stringham, passed away at the family residence in Bountiful at 11:30 Wednesday morning of heart and lung trouble after a week's illness. She had never been a strong woman but very ambitious and had always cared well for her family.
Deceased was born in Bountiful and was the daughter of Alonzo LaFayette and Martha Ashby Buckland and on the tenth of next month would have been sixty years old.
With the exception of a few years in Santaguin. Mrs. Loder spent her whole life in Salt Lake City and Bountiful. The last twenty years she spent in the town of her birth.
She was married to her present husband in Salt Lake City, who, together with the following children survives her: Mrs. William Salters of Logan; Erastus Loder of Sparks, Nevada; Mrs. Joseph Burningham of Bountiful; Lawrence Lodger of Ogden and Mrs. David Kerr of Bountiful. Five sons died in their infancy. She has seventeen grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the East Tabernacle this afternoon. There was a good attendance and numerous beautiful floral offerings. (rest unreadable)
