Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Aurandt died yesterday morning at 11:30 o’clock at her home, 222 East Second street, Williamsburg, of complications following an illness of three weeks. She was born Nov. 8, 1871, in Oreminea, and was married on Nov. 9, 1892, in Hollidaysburg, to Alfred Aurandt who died thirteen years ago. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Maude Patterson of Water Street, Roy Aurandt of Altoona, Daniel, Paul, Charles, and Mrs. Grace Straitiff, all of Williamsburg, and Clair with the armed forces in Italy.
Also surviving are two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Ida Merritts, Mrs. Edna Thodes and Blair Johnson, all of Altoona, seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Whe was a member of the Church of God,Williamsburg. Friends will be received at the late home after 7 o’clock this evening.

AURANDT - Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Aurandt of 222 East Second street, Williamsburg, will be held at the Church of God, Williamsburg, on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in charge of Rev. D.R. Moreland. Interment in Yellowl Springs cemetery. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o’clock this evening.
