OBITUARY FOR
Leland H. Blum
Leland H. "Lee" Blum, 65 of 117 East 15th Avenue, Kennewick, died Wednesday at his home.
He was born in Greenwood, WI., and married Harriet Briesch in 1940 in Colby, WI. They celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary April 10.
They moved to Kennewick in 1942. He worked as a carpenter for 40 years, and was a member of Carpenters Local 1849 and First Christian Church of Kennewick. He was a veteran of the Army Air Force during World War II. He collected antique tools and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include wife Harriet; daughters Marian Ward, Aloha, Or., Debra Blum, Kennewick, and Gayle Szendre (Steve), Richland; brother Howard Blum, Yucaipa, CA., Sister Thelma Blum, Westminster, CA. Eight grandchldren; and two great-grand-daughters. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 pm Monday in Mueller's Chapel of the Falls. Burial will follow in Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 am to 5 pm today, and from 1 to 8 pm on Sunday.
