Vinton Eagle, Friday, 6/27/1924-Miss Bonnie Dowler, of this city, passed away Tuesday forenoon at the state hospital at Independence, where she had been an inmate for some time. The body was brought to Vinton that afternoon, and a short service was held at the grave in Evergreen cemetery Wed. afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The service was conducted by Rev. W. F. Cronk, of the United Brethren Church.
Deceased was thirty-one years of age, and was born and reared in this city. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Dowler, who recently moved to Bremerton, WA. Besides her parents, she is survived by several brothers and sisters. Mrs. M. V. Carter of this city is an aunt of the deceased.
