Born in Oak Ridge, Redbank Township, on Feb. 25, 1938 he was a son of Darl F. and Ida Beer Crawford.
On Sept. 2, 1960 he married Patricia J. Gathers, who survives.
A lumber buyer for Crawford Furniture Company, Mr. Crawford had also served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was an avid ourdoorsman.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter-in-law, Kimberly Crawford of Gibsonia; two grandchildren, Bryan and Blaine Crawford of Gibsonia; two brothers, Samuel R. Crawford and Richard Crawford; and two sisters; Jean Shaffer and Cheryl Metz.
His parents and a son, Bradly Scot Crawford, preceded him in death.
Internment was in Squirrel Hill Cemetery.
