Cheryl Dianne Metz, 63, of Dover, Deleware, died Monday, July 28, 2014 at Kent General Hospital.
Born January 30, 1951 in Oak Ridge, she was the daughter of Darl F. Crawford and Ida Beer Crawford.
Mrs. Metz had owned and operated Timeless Treasures Antiques in Dover. Prior to moving to Dover, she owned and operated Metz Macramé and Miscellaneous in Pennsylvania.
She was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Dover. Mrs. Metz enjoyed collecting antiques and flower arranging, but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 47 years, Floyd W. Metz Jr. of Dover, Del., she is survived by; a son, Gregory W. Metz and his wife, Nancy, of Greensburg; a daughter, Bethany Buzard and her husband, Pride, of Dover, Del.; brothers, Sam Crawford and his wife, Judy, of New Bethlehem and Richard Crawford of Mayport; a sister, Jean Shaffer and her husband, Sonny, of New Bethlehem; and six grandchildren, Cullen, Corbin, Cameron and Conner Buzard and Clay and Olivia Metz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her oldest brother, Darl E. "Bud" Crawford.
The family will recieve friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 31, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, Dover, Deleware and also on Friday, August 1 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Dover, Del.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2014, at the church.
Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Distant.
