Cleo B. Corcoran, 84, passed from this earth to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 1, 2010.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 1802 Bethel Road, Weatherford. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Shep Cemetery in Shep. Rosary: (and visitation) 6 p.m. Sunday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm St., Weatherford
Mrs. Corcoran was born May 6, 1925, in Wingate to Richard and Nell Self Walker. She attended Bentley College in Waltham, Mass., and received her bachelor's degree in business management. She worked for many years at the Greenville, Hunt County Court House as county auditor. Mrs. Corcoran was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard T. Walker; her mother, Nell Walker; her husband, George F. Corcoran; son, Ronald Smith; her daughter, Kathleen Brabenec; and grandson, Jessie Smith.
Her favorite pastime were working in her beautiful garden, her bowling league and with her family.
Survivors: She is survived by her sons, Boyd Corcoran and his wife, Judy, Jim Corcoran and his wife, Laurie, Don Corcoran and his wife, Deborah, and Dave Corcoran and his wife, Sue; her brother, Jimmy Walker and his wife, Bonnie; and sister, Ann McCrain and husband, John.
