Graveside services held 6/16 at 4 p.m. at Locklin Cemetery near San Gabriel. Rev. George Frye, pastor of First Baptist Church of Thorndale, officiated. An honor guard from Fort Hood also assisted in the graveside service. He was BORN 5/29/1915 in Williamson County. SURVIVORS: 2 sons, Boyd Cochran and Ronnie Cochran, both of Boston, MA.; 2 sisters, Lilly Belle Carlson of Georgetown and Ruby Sering of Bryan; brother, Edward Baird Smith of Waco.
