Daughter of Thomas M Fambrough and Jane A Freeman, Augusta is my second great grandmother.

In 1850, the family of Jonathan Burgess was enumerated as Family 163 in District 149, in Greene County, Georgia. The family of Thomas M Fambrough was enumerated as Family 184.

By 1866, 3 Burgess brothers were married to 3 Fambrough sisters:

In 1856 James D Burgess married Statirah Josephine Fambrough
In 1859 Edward Alexander Burgess married Augusta Elizabeth Fambrough
In 1866 Robert Lee Burgess married Emma E Burgess
