Cordelia L. Sweet was born in Castile N. Y., August 8, 1844, and was united in marriage to Sylvester Munger, April 2, 1865, who departed this life Nov. 28, 1902. To this union were born five daughters: Nellie M. Crouch of Kalamazoo; Emma A. Lamb, Olive E. Lamb, Hattie M. Milliman and Eleanor C. Chipman of Scotts; who with an adopted son Archie P. Munger, two step-children Almeda G. Biddle of South Haven and Wilson A. Munger of Portales, New Mexico; fifteen grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ida Ross of Scotts; and one brother, Martin Sweet of Philadelphia, Pa., survive her. After several days of intense suffering she departed this life, July 21st, 1908, at the age of 63 yrs, 11 mo, 19 days. She was a kind and loving m other and will be sadly missed in the home and by those around her. Climax Cereal July 30, 1908 page
