Hattie Milliman
Mrs. Hattie Milliman passed away early Sunday morning at Borgess hospital following an illness of 15 months. Mrs. Milliman was born November 26, 1870, in Allegan County, the daughter of Sylvester and Cordelia Sweet Munger. She had resided in Kalamazoo most of her life and was a member of the Gold Star Mothers, the D. A. R., the O. E. S. of Climax, the W. B. A., Luzon-Argonne Auxiliary, and the Three-Quarter Century club. Mrs. Milliman was the widow of Frank G. Milliman who passed away in 1926. Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. Clare Burns of Paw Paw; one sister, Mrs. Eleanore Chipman of Kalamazoo; one stepbrother, Archie Munger; 4 grandchildren; Mrs. Myra Rylander of Galesburg, Ill., Mrs. Harriet Skidmore of Scotts, Michigan, Lewis Burns of Paw Paw and Mrs. Beatrice Ellis of Mattawan 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A son Lewis Milliman died in France in 1918 and a daughter Mrs. Mollie Ramsdell passed away in 1938. Services were held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Scotts Methodist church. Rev.
