She was the daughter of Bailey and Iva Robertson Ludwig. Mary was a life long resident of the Ava community. She graduated from Ava High School class of 1957. On Sept. 15, 1958, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Caudill in Seymour, Missouri. Mary was a homemaker and to union one daughter was born.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. She was a Sunday school teacher, bookkeeper, secretary and Christmas program coordinator. Mary had a green
thumb and enjoyed gardening,raising tomatoes and flowers. She, Stillings Schroeder and three grandchildren,SCaudileth,Delaine and Destiny, all of Ava; her husband, Kenneth, of Wasola;one brother, Larry Ludwig, of Ava; three sisters, Virginia Crank,Aloma Cummins and Illaall of Ava; and a host of other family and friends. Services were held at 2 p.m.May 22,2007 at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava,with Pastor Richard Potter officiating. Interment followed in the Ava Cemetery.
