She was a homemaker and was a member of the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. She was a Sunday school teacher, bookkeeper, secretary and Christmas program coordinator. Mary had a green
thumb and enjoyed gardening,raising tomatoes and flowers. She, Stillings Schroeder and three grandchildren,SCaudileth,Delaine and Destiny, all of Ava; her husband, Kenneth, of Wasola;one brother, Larry Ludwig, of Ava; three sisters, Virginia Crank,Aloma Cummins and Illaall of Ava; and a host of other family and friends. Services were held at 2 p.m.May 22,2007 at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava,with Pastor Richard Potter officiating. Interment followed in the Ava Cemetery.
