Virginia Ruth Ludwig Crank was born to Rev. Bailey and Iva Ulela Robertson Ludwig.On Oct.24,1949 in Mountain Home,Baxter County,Arkansas to Joseph Rex Crank.To this union one daughter was born.She worked as a waitress and housekeeper for most of her life.She was a Christian and a member of the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church where she served as secretary,treasury and played the piano. She enjoyed singing,playing the piano and crossword puzzles.Virginia also volunteered at the Ava Senior Citizens Center and helped with the Meals on Wheels program.She was preceded in death by her parents,Bailey and Iva Ludwig;her husband,Joseph Crank;three sisters,Wilda Loyd,Annette Caudill andMary Caudill.Virginia is survived by her daughter,Julie Crank,of Springfield,Missouri;a granddaughter,Johana Xochitl Duran,of Springfield,Missouri;two in the sisters,Ila Stillings and Aloma Cummins,both of Ava,Missouri;as well as many nieces and nephews,and other family and friends.Funeral services for Virginia will be held Fridat,March 6,2015 at 11 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel,Ava,Missouri,with burial in the Ava Cemetery.Visitation
