MINNEOLA - Mrs Rilla M Pittman, 80, died Sunday at the Bethel Home, Montezuma. She was born March 13, 1891, in Mauckport, Ind., and was married to Ira E Pittman, March 26, 1912, in Corydon, Ind. He died Aug. 19, 1954. She moved to Minneola in 1912 from Indiana. She was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors include sons George, Wiley, Colo.; Ira, Kansas City; daughters, Mrs Lucille Hatcher, Lamar, Colo; Mrs Cathryn Hicks, Goodland; Mrs Bonnie Woeppel, Kansas City; Mrs Edith Ferguson, Cimarron; step-sons, Clyde Pittman, Liberal; Cleo Pittman, Bloom; step-daughter, Mrs Pauline Bocks, South Bend, Ind.; 29 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church; Wilbur Johnson. Burial will be in the Minneola Cemetery. Friends may call all day Monday at the Hulpieu-Swaim Funeral Home, in Dodge City.
