Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday for Walter A. Meyer, 80, a Rosenberg resident who died Sunday night in Polly Ryon Hospital.
Rev. Tim Van Antwerp will officiate at the services to be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Rosenberg. Burial will be in WOW Cemetery.
Mr. Meyer was a member of American Legion Post 271, Woodmen of the World and St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Edna; a son, Walter J. of Rosenberg; his daughter, Mrs. Irene Warren of Missouri City; sisters, Mrs. Otto Leissner of Needville and Mrs. Adalie North of Lafayette, La. and three grandchildren.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Garmany and Co. Chapel in Rosenberg. In lieu of other remembrances, the family requests donations be made to the memorial fund of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
