He was born December 22, 1912, in Beech Creek, to Miles and Hettie Trivette Ward. He was a retired farmer and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Hagaman Ward, four sons, two sisters, three brothers, one granddaughter, two grandsons, and one great-grandson.
Services were conducted Friday afternoon at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Officiating were the Reverends James Hagaman and Maurice Ward. Burial was in the Zion Hill Church Cemetery.
Hampton Funeral Service was in the charge of arrangements.
