On December 25, 1938, at Keltner, Missouri, she married Arthur K. Boston. They later divorced.
She worked with her husband, Arthur, in their family business, Boston Garage. Later she worked in restaurants and nursing homes. After living most of her life in Missouri, she moved to Braddyville, Iowa where she lived for 18 years. She then returned to Missouri where she lived until 1995, when she moved to the Lee County, Iowa area, to be near her family. She loved making quilts, sewing clothes for family and friends, and gardening. She was of the Baptist faith.
At 84 years of age, she died at 9:00 pm Tuesday May 7, 2002 at Fort Madison Community Hospital, Ft. Madison, Iowa. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Arnold (Carolyn) Dischler, of West Point, Iowa; one grandson, Jay Dischler, of Keokuk, Iowa; one niece, Mrs. J.G. (Lorene)
Heinlein, of Ava, Missouri; one great niece, Mrs. Mickey (Debbie) Harvell, of Oldfield, Missouri; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and two brothers.
