William Thomas Hill, 89, Coryell County farmer and rancher, died at 6 a. m. Thursday in a Gatesville rest home.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed Thursday afternoon.
Mr. Hill lived in the southeastern part of the county for many years, moving from there when his place was taken in the establishment of the Fort Hood reservation. For the last ten years he had resided near Pidcoke.
His wife, who was Miss Mary Elizabeth Manning before their marriage, died in 1920.
Surviving are five sons, M. D. Hill of Jonesboro, R. A. Hill of Hamilton, J. F. Hill of Pidcoke, J. G. Hill of Pasadena and R. Q. Hill of Pidcoke; five daughters, Mrs. Willie Wagoner of Kilgore, Mrs. Lucy Levy of Killeen, Mrs. Fennimore Paul of Pearl, Mrs. Maudie Callon of Evant and Mrs. Vera Richardson of Oregon; three brothers, Albert Hill of Gatesville, Charlie Hill of Gatesville and R. Q. Hill of Jonesboro; a sister, Mrs. Virgie Cooper of Gatesville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
