Eartmann Hesse Christensen, 88, passed away Sept. 8, 1992, in a Sandy care center.

Born January 15, 1904, Moroni, Utah to Soren Christian and Caroline Christine Jensen Christensen. Married Loren Vance September 26, 1928 in Salt Lake LDS Temple; she died Feb. 10, 1935. Married Bernice Vance Dec. 31, 1935, in Orem, Utah; she died May 17, 1968. Married Nola Swensen Jan. 15, 1970, in Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Retired Vice-President and Teller in the banking business. Member of LDS Church, 2nd Counselor, Timpanogas Stake, Stake Clerk, Bishop and various positions. Member of Orem City Council and Pleasant Grove City Council, lifetime member of Pleasant Grove Chamber of Commerce, Strawberry Days Committee Chairman. A special thanks to the Sandy Regional Rehab Care Center for their loving care.

Survived by wife; three sons, Dean E. Orem; David A., Salt Lake City; Jan C., Pleasant Grove; two daughters, Bonnie Stratton, Salt Lake City; Carol Thomas, Provo; six stepchildren, Kent Parker, West Valley City; Sharlene Facer, Kearns; Dolores Rollins, Salt Lake City; Phyllis Fordham, Salt Lake City; Eldon Warner, Sandy; Betty Harward, Murray; brothers and sister, Victor Christensen, Orem; Hebert Christensen, Ogden; Leo Christensen, West Valley City; Carol Christensen, Orem; Louise Ericksen, Orem; 47 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter, Corine Partridge, five brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at Murray 12th LDS Ward, 363 E. Vine St. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, and Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Orem City Cemetery.
