Martha was first buried in Lone Fir Cemetery in close-in SE Portland. She was later removed from there and reburied in Riverview Cemetery.
It is interesting that Martha was not buried by her husband George who died in 1893 and was buried in Riverview to begin with. My first guess would be it cost less for her to be buried in Lone Fir at the time she died and the family was not doing well financially and did what they had to do. And then later they were able to afford to have her exhumed and reburied by her husband. That is just a guess though. That might not have been why she was buried in Lone Fir to begin with.
She died November of 1906.
