PNEUMONIA FATAL TO Z. T. STAPLES

Z. T. Staples, 66 years old, 4316 College avenue, president and senior partner of the Staples and Mosias Optical Company, 441 Consolidated building, died at his home at 1:15 o'clock yesterday morning following an illness of one week with pneumonia. Mr. Staples was born in Philadelphia, Pa., but came to Indianapolis thirty years ago. He had been in the optical business here for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Memorial Presbyterian Church, the Shrine and the Scottish Rite.

He is survived by the widow and three children, Mrs. E. J. Roark and Mrs. A. F. Anderson, both of Indianapolis, and Mrs. R. W. Parker of Cleveland, O. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Flanner and Buchanan funeral establishment, 220 North Illinois street. Burial will be in Crown Hill cememtery. The services will be conducted by the Scottish Rite.
