Charles Shaler, the son of Maj. Charles Shaler, the commandant of the arsenal, died yesterday afternoon of consumption. Before becoming an invalid, Mr. Shaler was engaged in newspaper work. The funeral will be held at the arsenal tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. The Rev. J. D. Stanley will have charge of the service.
