Miss Luella A. Newport, 78, East 49th Street, died today in a nursing home. A life resident of Indianapolis, Miss Newport had been a self-employed accountant. She was a member of Broadway Methodist Church and the Indianapolis Business and Professional Women's Club.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Shirley Brothers Drexel Chapel with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Two brothers survive.
