"MRS. HARMENING, 81, DIES AT SON'S HOME


Mrs. Christina Harmening, 81 years old, a resident of the South side many years, died yesterday at the home of her son, Henry W. Harmening, 1422 East Kelly Street, after a long illness. She was the widow of Henry Harmening, who died fourteen years ago.


Mrs. Harmening was born in Germany and had lived in Indianapolis since she was a girl. She was a member of the Zion Evangelical Church.


Survivors are two sons, Henry W. and Charles Harmening, both of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Sophia Ellerkant of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Mary Ploenges of Cumberland and three grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held in the Herrmann undertaking establishment, 701 North New Jersey Street, at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, followed by services at Zion Evangelical Church at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery."
