Do not weep for me, for I am not here. I am the continuing sunrise of your days, the song of a bird, the laughter of a child, the feeling of spring rain upon your face, the stars of a summers night, first snow of winter, a song, a touch, a thought, a smile. Do not weep for me, for I am not here. God, in His wisdom, has made me well and whole again. The path I traveled on leads to that place where we shall all meet again. This He has promised. To speak my name is to make me live forever.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.
