ORIGINAL GRAVE HERE.

THE GRAVE AT DALRYMPLE CEMETERY IS A CENOTAPH.

He and his wife were originally buried at Old Macedonia cemetery at what was then Macedonia Church, which G.W. Masters founded and where he preached, according to Ethel S. Updike and Laura Mentzel, who asked several of their grandchildren for the location when they were writing the Masters and Hall family history. The markers were unreadable. Minnie Slater said the same.
The original Old Macedonia Cemetery is what they're now calling Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery #2 on FindAGrave.

Some years later, descendants placed new markers for them in the Dalrymple Cemetery, a family cemetery on property that was originally part of George and Sallie Masters' farm.
