He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Gahahan Clark; one son, Richard Clark of Knoxville; two grandchildren, Jonathan Clark and Allison Clark; one brother, Rhea Clark of Portsmouth, Va., and one sister, Mabel Corpening of Winston-Salem, N.C.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. til 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2003, with the service to follow at 12:30 p.m., Rev. William Fowler and Rev. Cabel W. Trent will officiate. The family will go in procession to the Oak Ridge Memorial Park for burial.
In lieu of flowers, the family request, gifts be made to the Church St. United Methodist Church Soup Kitchen. Arrangements by Weaver Funeral Home, "A Tradition Since 1921", 5815 Western Ave., 865 588-3868.
