Jean "Jeannie" Kosfeld was born Sept. 10, 1933, in Marlow, Oklahoma, to Thomas Fred and Eva Mae (Moore) Land.
She passed away on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She married Larry Kosfeld on Feb. 4, 1951, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was the head cashier at Humpty Foods for several years and also worked as a receptionist for doctor clinics.
Jeannie and Larry lived in Oklahoma City for 53 years and had lived in Missouri before then.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Velma Teague, and a brother, Leo Land.
Jeannie is survived by her husband, Larry Kosfeld of Oklahoma City, daughter Deborah McMartin and her husband, David of Wheatland, Oklahoma, son David Kosfeld and his wife, Sherri of Oklahoma City, four grandchildren and their spouses, four great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.
