Helen was born Jan. 3, 1918, in Greenfield to Charles Sumner Lathrop and Mabel Viola Bishop. She was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Helen loved to read and take walks. She was a wonderful grandmother and mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Greene, of Hagerman, and Carolyn Long, and her husband, Raymond, of Salem, Utah; one son, Stephen Greene, and his wife, Jody, of Newcastle, Wyo.; seven grandchildren, Mark Greene, Lisa Hoffman, Mathew Greene, Heather Long, Holly Zanhand, Heidi Case and Jeffrey Long; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Nathaniel Greene, two brothers and one sister.
