Mrs Bullington Dies Following Long Illness
Death Occurs Monday Night: Funeral Rites to be held Thursday (23rd)
Mrs. Lenora Bullington, 69, wife of Benjamin Bullington, 821 East Bidwell Stree, died at 10 o"clock Monday night in the St. Vincent Hospital. Mrs Bullington had been ill for two years.
A native of Christian county she was born at Edinburg on February 19, 1881, a daughter of Hardy and Sadie Crow Markwell. She was married to Mr. Bullington on June 12, 1902 and her entire life had been spent in this community. She was a member of the Blue Mound Christian Church.
Surviving are her husband,a son Fay of Decatur,a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Dietz of Taylorville, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Mrs Garnet Brown, Blue Mound; Mrs Oda Stapleton, Decatur, Miss Elsie Markwell, Redwood City, California, Mrs Hope Sells, Seattle, Washington, Grant Markwell, Decatur, Olin, Hayward, California, Ray Assumption and Ollie of Mt. Auburn.
The body is at the Abel Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Christian Church. Rev. Charles Day will officiate and burial will be in the Hall cemetery at Blue Mound.
