Son of William and Anice Haslam. First wife, Ada Crawford; son Leonard Lee Haslam.
Second wife, Mary Janet Ferris. Children: Marian, John Henry, Ruth Eileen, Alice Vivian, Nina Kathleen, & Jessie Helen Haslam.
John lost his left leg from the knee down. That fact never slowed him down. He was known as the man that made the best cured olives in town. He grew big gardens and shared the yields with neighbors. He raised chickens.
