Carroll Eugene "Jack" Lawson, 65, of Elkton, died on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004.

He was born on Sept. 10, 1938, in Elkton and was a son of the late Elmer Clarence and Mamie Williams Lawson.

Mr. Lawson lived in the Elkton area his entire life and graduated from Elkton High School in 1956. He was a carpenter before retiring.

On Jan. 31, 1959, he married Mae Keyser Lawson, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Diane Watson of Port Republic, and Carolyn Faye Lawson of Elkton; a brother, Elmer C. Lawson Jr. of Shenandoah; two sisters, Charlotte Conley and Peggy Dean, both of Elkton; and one granddaughter.

A graveside service was conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 6, at the Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton by the Rev. Harold Webster.
