ONG (TNS) — Funeral services for Clarence R. Miller of Ong will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Ong United
Methodist Church. He died Wednesday evening in the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva.
Miller, 58, moved to Ong in 1949 after being born and spending most of his life in the Exeter community. He was employed by the Co-op Service Station and was a member of the village board. He was also cemetery sextant and chief of the Ong Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife Helene; father, Henry W. Miller of Hastings; sons, Robert of Oakland, Calif., Ronald of Houston, Tex., Rolland of Ft. Ord, Calif., and Oscar, Roger, and Max of Ong; daughters Mrs. Lue Etherton Jr., of York; Mrs. Tony Turner of Lenoir, N. C., and Cynthia and Jodelle of Ong; stepson Gordon Stofer of Hastings; brothers Harold of Wendell, Minn., Henry L. and W.M. "Dale" of Hastings, Edwin of Effingham, Kan., and Boyd of McCool; sisters Mrs. Roy Loyd of National City, Calif., Mrs. Joe Lehechka of Hastings, Mrs. Farnum Schrader of Palmer, and Mrs. Ruby Stevens of National City, Calif.; three grandsons and four granddaughters.

Graveside services will be held at the Exeter Cemetery. Pastor Robert Ditterline Sr., will officiate and the Urbauer Funeral Home of Davenport is in charge.
