Marissa made a profession of faith at an early age and was baptized on Sept. 10, 1978.
She graduated from Tuttle High School and continued her education at the Oklahoma City Community College and graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in theatre and a minor in music. Marissa performed in shows at Jewel Box, Shakespeare in the Park, and the Pollard Theatre. She directed several shows for children in the Tuttle area and was the director of the Oklahoma Children's Acting Guild.
Marissa married William Philip Keeth on Sept. 8, 2007 in Tuttle, and their daughter, Sarah, was born on Nov. 17, 2008. Marissa stayed at home with Sarah, devoting her life to her family and spending every possible moment with her baby girl. Sarah was her mother's delight, and Marissa sang to her and played with her all day long and stayed with her all night. They were an inseparable team and were always happy together.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Pace; and one stepbrother, Scott Short.
Survivors include her husband, William Philip Keeth and daughter, Sarah Susangail Keeth of the home; her stepfather and mother, Jerry and Janice Gail Short of Blanchard; two sisters and brothers-in-law, James and Karlene Gottman of Tuttle and Ben and Regina Garvie of Tuttle; one stepsister and brother-in-law, Kevin and Dianna Hopkins of Newcastle; one stepbrother, Jay Short of Norman and his son, Jayson; mother-in-law, Helen Keeth of Oklahoma City; and two brothers-in-law, John Keeth and Ken Keeth of Oklahoma City; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Krislyn, Kevin and Gary Gottman and Lenora, Bennett and Belinda Garvie.
