Gary Thomas Pace

Funeral for Gary Thomas Pace, 55, Tuttle, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 1995, in Sowers Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Maple Grove Cemetery in Alfalfa County.

He was born September 6, 1939, in Fort Smith, Ark., the son of Lester Thomas and Dorothy Mae (Goodin) Pace, and died Monday, August 21, 1995, in Tuttle.

Mr. Pace graduated from Enid High School in 1958. He served in the U.S. Army as Private First Class from 1958-1961. Mr. Pace also attended Phillips University and Central State University.

He moved to Edmond in 1967, to Warr Acres in 1968, and to Tuttle in 1978.

Mr. Pace was retired from the Postal Service.

He and Janice Gail Price were married January 25, 1963, in Enid.

Mr. Pace was preceded in death by his father, Lester Thomas Pace.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Gail Pace of the home in Tuttle; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Karlene Marie and James Gottman, Marissa Lee Pace, all of Tuttle, Regina Mae and Benjamin Garvie of Alva; his mother, Dorothy Pace of Stilwell; three sisters and their husbands, Mary and Don Falling of Tahlequah, Sue and Larry Watkins of Stilwell, Nancy and Ron Watkins of Hominy; three grandchildren, Krislyn, Kevin and Gary Gottman of Tuttle; and his mother-in-law, Erma Lee Price.

Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Maple Grove Cemetery, Alfalfa County, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle.
