Pearl Kelly
Mrs. Pearl KELLY, 79, Athens, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert WINTERROWD, in Athens. She had been in ill health five years, seriously sick six weeks.
Born Dec. 5, 1882, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of William and Hulda ADDISON JONES and had resided in the Athens and Rochester communities 38 years, moving here from Kokomo. She was married March 25, 1905, at Kokomo to Barney KELLY, who died in 1938.
Mrs. Kelly was a member of the Kokomo Christian church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Frances)ROSENBAUM, Wanatah, and Mrs. Robert (Ruth) WINTERROWD, Athens; three sons, Clyde [KELLY], Kokomo; Eugene [KELLY], Huntington, and Louis [KELLY], Rochester; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Eber RICKETTS, Kokomo. One sister preceded in death.
Last rites will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Sheetz funeral home at Akron with the Rev. Wayne JOHNSON officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park cemetery at Kokomo. Friends may call at the funeral home.
