Mrs. Bozard was born at Woodford, a daughter of the late Albert and Eva Hooker Popwell. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are: her husband a daughter, Mrs. Joh Henry Sharpe of Montgomery, Ala.; six sons, J. C., Henry Tillman, Andrew D., and Jimmy Ray Bozard, all of Orangeburg, Carroll Bozard of Atlanta, Ga., and Sgt. Al Bozard of Altus Air Force Base, Okla.; four sisters, Mrs. R. D. Bozard of Orangeburg, Mrs. J. H. Fogle and Mrs. Blight Jeffcoat, both of Swansea, and Mrs. James Branham of Cayce; 23 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
