Neoma Lee "Na" McIntosh, 83, of Stidham, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009. Neoma was born on May 10, 1926, in Fame, Oklahoma, the daughter of Druie and Pauline (Self) Williams. On February 14, 1946, Neoma married Thomas McIntosh in Eufaula. They were happily married for 63 years. Neoma worked for the Eufaula Public Schools as a librarian for 17 years. She was an avid sports fan, playing semi-pro basketball during the war. Neoma was a member of the Big Arbor Indian Baptist Church and the Muscogee Creek Nation. Neoma had a big heart, she always helped those in need taking in friends or giving assistance to someone who might need a little help. Neoma biggest love was her family. She was always traveling to watch her children and later her grandchildren in all of their activities. Her family was her life. Survivors include: her husband, Thomas McIntosh, of the home; her sons, Dr. Stanley McIntosh and Vickie of Eufaula, Dr. Roley McIntosh and Debbie of Eufaula and Tom Stacy and Vickie Berry McIntosh of Eufaula; her daughters, Rosemary Price of Addington and Rebecca and Richard Harris of Ft. Gibson; her brothers, J.D. Williams and Bonnie of Stidham, Jerry Williams and Susie of Crowder and Danny Williams and Carrie Lee of Eufaula; her sister, Barbara Dixon and Leon of Checotah; her sisters-in-law, Lahoma Whitson of McAlester, Hazel McIntosh of Stidham and Louise McIntosh also of Stidham. Neoma is also survived by 18 grandchildren, Wade Jennings, Natalie Jerez, Jana Kuehne, Olivia, Cynthia and Paul McIntosh, Leah Jack, Liz, Lauren and Ben Harris, Spencer, Tyler and Eli McIntosh, Samantha Lewis, Thomas, Christian and Makenzie McIntosh, and Karissa Fulton and 22 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law Bob Price. Visitation will be held at the family home on Tuesday, December 15 and Wednesday, December 16. Wake services will be held 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, at the Big Arbor Indian Baptist Church in Stidham with Reverend Fred Lindsey officiating. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, at the Stidham Baptist Church with Reverend Gary Hawkins and Reverend Carlos Cascante officiating. Pallbearers will be Spencer McIntosh, Tyler McIntosh, Eli McIntosh, Paul McIntosh, Thomas R. McIntosh, Ben Harris, Christian McIntosh and Wyatt Jennings. Burial will follow at the McIntosh/Hawkins Cemetery under the direction of Hunn, Black and Merritt Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to the Big Arbor Baptist Church Building Fund or Missions Fund.
