Mary Highberger Arnoult, 89, passed away at Germantown Methodist Hospital on December 13, 2009 after a very short illness. She was the widow of Philip Canale Arnoult and they were married for 63 years. Her father was a prominent landscape architect in Memphis, John F. Highberger. She leaves two sons, W. Michael Arnoult (Gwen) of Memphis and Philip F. Arnoult (Carol) of Baltimore, MD. She also leaves two grandsons, W. Michael Arnoult, Jr. of Kildeer, Il, and T. Darren Arnoult of Germantown, TN and one granddaughter, Alison VanPelt of Charlotte, N. C. She also leaves six great-grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Anne Catholic Church Highland and was a member of Madonna Circle, Circle Arts and the Nineteenth Century Club. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, December 16 at Canale Funeral Directors. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 17 at St. Louis Catholic Church with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
