HATTON - Dewey Walker, 88, of Hatton died Thursday, March 11, 2004, Mena. He was born February 27, 1916, in Carbon Hill, Ala. He was an Army veteran of World War II and retired from Hatton Lumber Co., where he was a forklift driver.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2004 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena. He is survived by his wife, Florence Adella Smedley Walker; three sons, Charles Odom Walker of Conroe, Tex. and David and Larry Walker, both of Mena; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
