Fay Marie Pickle, 79, of Greenville passed away at her home Dec. 11, 2009.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel, with Dr. Jack L. Lord and Rev. Jim Corbet officiating.

Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Fay was born March 16, 1930, in Dallas to George and Myrtle Daniel Brey.

On Nov. 26, 1975, she married C. B. Pickle in Dallas.

She was a homemaker, retiring from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. in Dallas and from Pickle Brothers Lumber Company in Greenville. She was a member of Mineral Heights Baptist Church.

Her survivors include her loving husband from Greenville, her children, William Gassett and wife Sandy of Gun Barrel City, Karen Gassett of Addison, Kevin Gassett and wife Pam of Point, Regina Ragsdale and husband Roy of Greenville, Theda Ray and husband Don of Cherokee, and Tena Morgan of Greenville; brothers George Brey and wife Margie of Fort Worth, Cleve Brey and wife Mildred of Eustace, and Paul Brey and wife Martha of Arp; sister Betty Colbert of Royse City; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Margarite Brey and Esther Brey English; and a brother John Brey.Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Tony Walls, Robert Walls, Blake Gassett, Lee Ragsdale, Scott Ragsdale, Bryan Ragsdale, Neil Ragsdale, Donnie Ray, Jody Ray, and Kyle Morgan.

The family request memorials be made to the Mineral Heights Baptist Church Christian Academy or the Greenville Christian School.
