Travers Moncure and Mrs. Travers Moncure were originally buried in Sommerset, Virginia which is now on the land annexed by USMC Base Quantico. Those graves were moved to Aquia Episcopal Church Cemetery prior to the 1940s and are now located in a section of the church cemetery called "The Sommerset Section". There are quite a few MONCURE buriels at Aquia but I could not find any headstones with their names. Anita Dodd of the Stafford County Cemetery Committee wrote "As you are looking at the church from the parking lot, section is right at the edge of the parking lot and a little to the right of the church building. The inscription is just the names, no dates." I walked the entire section and could not find any markers or headstones with their names. Perhaps the church records would have a map and location
