Mrs. Jeanette E. Altheimer of 1821 Saracen Street died Monday at Jefferson Hospital.
She was the widow of Reverend Silas J. Altheimer.
She was born in Yaokum, Texas, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Porche.
She studied at Prairie View (Texas) College and Alcorn (Mississippi) College and received her masters degree in education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
She served as dietician for the Branch Normal College (later Arkansas AM&N College now the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and taught in the Carthage Public Schools and the Pine Bluff Public Schools.
She was a member of the St. John AME Church and the Harmony Chapter 40, Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include five sons, Joe P. Altheimer and Sylvanus J. Altheimer, both of Pine Bluff, Reverend Berton C. Altheimer and Rowan J. Altheimer, both of Little Rock, and Dr. Rosewald D. Altheimer of Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth P. Cooper of Houston and Mrs. Alma P. Crawford of Gonzales, Texas; a brother, Oscar Porche of Yoakum, Texas; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by P. K. Miller Mortuary.
The family will be at 207 West 35th Avenue.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanette E. Altheimer of 1821 Saracen Street, who died Monday at Jefferson Hospital, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at the St. John AME Church by Reverend T. D. Alexander. Burial is to be in the Bellwood Cemetery by P. K. Miller Mortuary.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary and the body will be carried to the church at noon Friday.
Pallbearers will be C. N. Toney, Fulton Walker, James Dennis, Ezra Scoggins, Zachariah Butler, Jr., and Ervin Dennis.
