Nancy Catherine Banks, my great grandmother: a Christian and woman of honor, descended from at least five Revolutionary soldiers, and daughter of James Russell Banks, who died in 1864 during the Civil War. Wife of James Knox Acree, parents of my grandmother Retha Jane Acree, wife of Zack Martin.
